Turtle Doves on top of mom's garden.
Since I have to blog for mom, I’m going to make things a little more interesting. I was doing my chores the other day and spied two mourning doves sitting side by side all fluffed up and cozy. They looked exactly like an ornament we hang on the christmas tree called “Turtle Doves“. So I called mom over and she snapped a few photos like the one above. I think this means good luck for her garden in spring. Here are more pictures:

Wow! I am impressed… you are a very good writer! I am looking forward to reading more… why do you “have” to blog for your mom? Just curious. Are you going to have a blog topic, like gardening, or will each post be about something different? When I was in the 9th grade, I had a really kooky art teacher who used to make us write in a journal for 5 minutes about a topic she would put on the board. We were not allowed to stop writing so it was very interesting what we’d write. It was fun years later to read that journal. You’ll probably find the same to be true with this blog. Good luck!

Aunt Joannah: I am keeping up with this blog because mom is ALWAYS doing homework for her “Master degree in nursing” Class. I’d hate to see this blog untouched for three more years.
